Sometimes a bit of help for a few hours a day can make all the difference in the world. After family has gone back home, or maybe partners have returned to work, women are expected to be right back into the swing of things, but nothing can be farther from the truth for many new mothers.

With Daytime Postpartum Doula support, new mothers can find the support required, unique to them.

Maybe you need help with newborn care.

Maybe you need a nap.

Have you showered today?

Do you need some laundry done or dishes washed?

Have you eaten? And I mean an actual meal, not something quick from the pantry or fridge.

How is your partner doing? Do they have any needs we can find resources for?

Do you need to talk? How you’re feeling, even if it changes day to day or moment to moment, is super important.

How did your birth go?

With Daytime Postpartum support, we can address all or some of these things, in order to help you through this incredible transition during one of the most precious times in your life.

I believe that families can craft the packages that make sense to them, that cover their needs and fit within their budget. Packages can consist of a minimum of 2 hours a day up to 4 hours a day, once or even a few times a week. Let’s talk about what you’re thinking and create something that works!

All CCBS Clients recieve access to the CCBS Client Portal containing downloads, handouts, videos and study links to many topics in pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Daytime rate: $26 per hour

Are there additional holistic aspects of care?

In Western culture, unlike many other cultures around the world, new mothers do not have woman-centered, holistic traditions that support the mother and family in the postpartum period while she adjusts to the changes of life with a baby. But we did once, and it’s important to the well-being of the entire family that these things are accessible again.

Mothers need care, assistance, time to reflect, to talk about their birth stories and be heard without judgment or criticism.

Physical care and assistance can include…

  • Diastasis Recti (abdominal muscle separation) education

  • Belly Wrapping with a personalized, custom-made wrap which can include a candle-lit bath and warming belly oil application and tuck-in (see link)

  • Sitz Baths and Herbal Vaginal Steams for vaginal repair and healing

  • Herbal education and remedy preparation

  • Birth Trauma debriefing and support resources
